On Saturday, September 21st, the Chesterwye Foundation hosted its annual fundraising event at the Kent Island Fire Hall.
The event celebrated its 45th year supporting the Chesterwye Center with funding for key capital improvement projects. This year funds will support the need for generators installed in each of the residential homes, in an effort to eliminate having to re-locate clients when loss of power occurs.
View the below photos for a glimpse at some of the evenings highlights!
Chesterwye Center celebrate its first ever DSP of the Year Away, granted to Sopath Johnson, and the leadership efforts of Co-Chairs Wheeler Baker and Kathy Dubel. The evening also welcomed new CEO Michael Yates and honored our founder Bobby Ann Nash.
The clients at Chesterwye Center also presented artwork made available for sale as framed prints and notecards. These will continue to be on sale throughout the year soon.
A special thank you to our sponsors, donors, guests and volunteers for making a fantastic event possible.
